VSAT
VSAT or Very Small Aperture Terminals are small, software-driven earth stations (typically 0.9-2.4 meters, which equates to 3-8 feet, though larger units are available) used for the reliable transmission of data, video, or voice via satellite. It requires no staff or additional technology to operate it. It simply plugs into existing terminal equipment.

S.C.A.D.A.
SCADA is a combination telemetry and data acquisition system. The system is composed of collecting information, transferring it back to a central control site or main station computer, conducting the necessary analysis and control, and then displaying the data on an operator screen. Primarily used to monitor and control a plant, pipeline or equipment and useful for remote/hazardous locations.
