The LT-4100L provides voice and data service with "truly" global coverage. Its compact rugged design is the ideal candidate to provide primary satellite communications system for a wide variety of applications and situations. This includes emergency communications and business continuity and terrestrial network backup.

Easy to install and configure (cable lengths up to 500m) making it ideally suited for numerous emergency communications, business continuity and disaster recover requirements in any remote location with Iridium Certus® true 100% global coverage. From the Arctics to control and monitoring stations, safe rooms enabled through its small antenna design for easy implementation in a variety of configurations.

Lars Thrane LT-4100L Iridium Certus® Land (fixed) Terminal consists of One Control Unit, One Handset Unit and One Antenna Unit with A single coaxial cable connects the control unit to the antenna unit. Utilizing a standard coaxial cable, with a run of up to 500 meters between the antenna and control units can be obtained, giving the ability to mount the antenna unit in the best possible location, up to 500 meters apart with free line of sight to the satellites. The Lars Thrane LT-4100 Satellite Communications System operates on the IRIDIUM CERTUS® 100 service. It’s a compact, robust maritime satellite communication system by Lars Thrane A/S. It is a truly global maritime system designed for the professional maritime market; deep-sea, fishing and workboats. Though just as useful in the recreational leisure market. It is system designed and operates on a truly global basis worldwide on Iridium’s truly global satellite Certus network.

The LT-4100 voice and data capabilities on a truly worldwide, global basis on Iridium’s satellite network. It can operate as the primary satellite communication system aboard vessels providing basic communication requirements for ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore connectivity. Providing two (2) high-quality voice channels and IP–data (22 kbps (up)/88 kbps (down))  Built for the requirements of the demanding maritime market. A rugged, compact configuration allows for ease of installation and the use of a single coaxial cable to connect the antenna unit to the control unit with up to 500 meters of separation between the units for greatest options for the best possible placement of the antenna unit with free line of sight to Iridium’s satellites. :LT-4100 control unit utilizes either a bracket mount or flush mount. The antenna unit can be mounted with a pole mount. The control unit has a large TFT display and with built-in webserver allows for ease of service and maintenance.
